Southerly 135 "MOONDANCE" was built December 2004 and launched in summer 2005. This centre cockpit cutter is highly specified for extended blue-water sailing and has been well maintained by her knowledgeable owners. This Southerly 135 is the 3 cabin version with an airy and light raised deck saloon, a spacious aft cabin, a bunk cabin midships and a double cabin forward. The Southerly 35RS boasts an impressive sail plan; the fraction rig combines a self tacking furling jib and a large powerful mainsail with single line reefing. This ensures the yacht can be easily sailed by two people. The main sheet track is positioned across the cockpit, within easy reach of the helmsman. The raised coachroof with pilot house windows provides a light and open interior. Partially reflective tinted glass gives privacy whilst also deflecting heat from the suns rays. The spacious interior has been designed for comfortable living with ample headroom, good ventilation and excellent accommodation. Two large cabins with generous berths and plenty of stowage, a sensible heads compartment and well planned linear galley, make living aboard this yacht a pleasure. At the touch of a button, the keel can be raised, to give a draft of 0.72M for shallow draft freedom.

“SALTY” is a prime example of the Southerly 32 cruising yacht built by Northshore Yachts at the shipyard in Itchenor, near Chichester.
Currently located in Guardamar del Sugura, only a short distance away from Alicante, this is the perfect small yacht for family cruising, and with the unique Swing Keel her variable draft gives her deep draft performance with shallow draft freedom at the touch of a button. She is due to return to Itchenor in May 2025 where she will be available for viewing at the Northshore Boatyard.
